This is interesting.

During the Salsa Cruise that happened about a month ago, one of the ground tours involved a day trip at Phuket Island. Us being the dedicated crew who were crazy busy while sailing..the moment we had the chance to escape the ship, we took it. Only lazy / old people would wana stay on board! haha.

We are DA POSIERS (as usual). I guess we attract some, if not a bit, of attention when we do this.

Sometimes I think we camho too much for our own good.

Like in this pic, Tim, myself, Steiner, Shu Shan and Pauline are happily shooting ourselves…

….And little did I know.. that someone was snapping pics of us!

Wah this fella. You think we camho for your entertainment ah?? Think it’s free ah?? Cheh wah. Until now I have no idea who took this pic of us lol.

But the kicker about this pic is that I found it while I was browsing pages in Facebook just now.

Our ‘spy’ actually took this shot and posted it up for a Rev-up with Revive Isotonic contest (I think). You know, I’m actually starting to like this guy…methinks that he thinks that I’m a celebrity lol. I just hope that he/she/heshe wasn’t part of some Thai Stalker syndicate or I’m gona be a paranoid guy the next time I enter Thailand @.@

Spy-guy aside, here’s a heads-up for you on what this Contest is all about. It’s called Rev-up with Revive Isotonic.

Whatcha gota do?

Simply put, you have to post a Picture or a Video of yourself in a Revive ‘Rev-up’ moment.

What’s a Revive ‘Rev-up’ moment?

It’s about ordinary daily activities performed in an extraordinary way, and must involve some form of physical movement.

An major poser good example is something like this (Rames’ contest entry):

Just remember to include a can or bottle or mention of Revive. then Post!

And the prize?

A weekly cash prize of RM1000, and a Grand prize of RM5000.

No shit man I’m so gona do this. And because I’ve seen people do just pictures here, and here, I’m gona make a video instead. Puts me far ahead of the pack because I’m money-minded and want RM5000 to prove that I can cut it as a good videographer.

This post is dedicated to one of the latest bands that I dig, An Honest Mistake.

 

Kevin, Darren Teh, Leowazza, Eve Oh.

 

..who were the finalists for the Accoustic Showdown Finals last Wednesday.

 

 

I was invited by Leowazza (guitarist), along with other friends to come and support them for the group category.

Yvonne, Thong Kai, Grace, Leowazza, Boon Ken & Baldwin Chua.

 

This guy has so many supporters la. Call only they come like an army xD

Venue : Urbanattic…

….home of many new bands and probably the only happening place in Capsquare Mall haha.

 

 

That night was a battle between not only the group category, but also the solo category. This is Darren Teh, the hero who went solo. At the same time, he’s also the frontman for AHM.

The sor lou solo battle has begun!

 

While they were playing on stage, we were playing on da floor!

 

It wasn’t exactly a neck-to-neck fight, yet it wasn’t easy to tell who would win. Each contestant of course had his/her own supporters, and had their own charisma with the audience. Something told me that it would be a close fight between the top 2 (guy with shades and Darren).

Surprisingly, the winner turned out to be…

…George Wong.

I guessed wrong. Maybe I’m biased xD But he had a huge supporter gang ok, regardless of skill (or looks).

Our Darren terpaksalah tepuk tangan although his face looked like a bag of sour grapes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But he still had one hope. With An Honest Mistake (AHM) in the group category.

 

The battle was fierce and close. I really couldn’t tell which way the crowd was heading, through the outstanding performance of all three bands.

I could tell though, that these two were crazy close to each other.

 

This guy’s vocals were incredibly good, hitting high while keeping it under control. A truly emo singer accompanied by his equally talented guitarist. Although I couldn’t understand why his electric guitar was allowed (it’s Accoustic Showdown wei), they would have done equally well with an accoustic.

 

While AHM really kept the crowd going while belting out two of their original songs. It’s called……ok i don’t know, cos the song names are unbelievably long. I don’t know why.

But they rock!

 

While we rocks the floor too!

  Leo’s group of supporters…besides May-Fern in black, I didn’t get to know the others. So it’s a Random Supporter shot woo!
