From my first Advertlets movie screening Wall-E… this show was rated UMUM.

 

 

….then there was Madagascar 2, which was also rated UMUM..

 

…then The Proposal…which is not-so-UMUM, but still quite UMUM…

 

Then last night…

 

You tell me lah, culture-shock or not. Non-stop fighting & explosions & uncensored ‘I’m gona focken kill you’ (in Wikus’s own words). Not UMUM at all.

 

And if you think the screenshots are ganas, wait till you see the ‘Body-Zapper Gun’ in the show. Some awesome sick shit FIRE-POWER yo I like.

 

I was at the Press screening at Cineleisure last night, thanks to Advertlets. There I met up with the gang!

I was completely clueless about what the show was about. All I knew was the movie’s tagline : You Are Not Welcome Here.

 

Fair enough, I blindly went and watched the movie. The first 1/2 hour was a drag, but when strange things started happening to Wikus van de Werwe, I got glued to the seat. Happening shit synopsis here and here at Ewin’s blog.

These bloggers have a special ability where they can sense a camera pointed at them even while they’re going down an escalator.

 

But they will ‘accidentally’ ignore the camera at a junction when they run the red light.

 

 

Just before I slept last night, I read a tweet on The Star about Malaysians being able to catch a meteor shower, between 1.30-4am.

 

So I threw off my blanket and gave my best attempt to witness history in the making.

Quick post! I only have 2 hours to sleep before I get up at 5pm.

 

Why I had to sleep so late : Came back late, quick upload of Malaysian Blogger Gathering pics + pack baju + finalize itinerary.

 

Why I have to wake up so early tomorrow : Gona catch a 9.25am plane to….

 

 

 

BALI!

 

After a hard-fought orgy battle between me + my mum VS Travel Agent + Airasia, with the possibility of the whole trip being cancelled, everything seems to be in place finally. Unless there is a surprise waiting to jump me tomorrow.

 

As of now, my stuff is 80% packed, travel vouchers are 80% done, and I’m 1% confident that I can wake up on time tomorrow. I’m trying to be as spontaneous as possible, you see. I heard that girls dig spontaneous guys.

 

So I even purposely forgot to inform my local Bali guide that my hotel has been changed from Baruna Bali to Swiss Belhotel. Let him find out himself tomorrow…muuhaahahhahaaa…..spontaneous!

 

And I dunno if I’ll be able to twit / blog when I get there. I should be able to find a business center, or I’ll just look for some dingy cybercafe that’ll charge me TENS of THOUSANDS of rupiah per hour of surfing LOL.

I may add my observation that there seems to be a bit less material around the underwear this time compared to the traditional huge red spandex. It’s a new-age-Superman thing, I think. Ask the sponsors of the G-string that they were happily giving away as the games’ prizes hahahaaha.

The NPL (National Paintball League) in Melaka ended up with a little more than what we bargained for:

 

1. It’s not that we won podium place, and brought home medals, as much as we had hoped for.

 

In fact, we didn’t make it past the first knockout stage. 30 teams joined, and we needed at least 15th place to get into 2nd round. Our matches were fixed in such a way that we played against 4 teams who were strong enough to make it into 2nd round.

 

And 2 of them actually finished on podium. So there you go. It was one tough fight.

 

(What I’m trying to say is that our team Yakuza was actually very good, but we played against super teams, that’s why we lost. Haha..!)

2. It’s not about any hot chicks that we brought home.

Melaka girls are about as hot as my granny can be….or I could be looking at the wrong place. Maybe the main Melaka Square or Dataran Pahlawan isn’t considered a happening joint. Maybe I should have explored somewhere more ulu like Kampung Banda Kaba or Kampung Dunan Daun Dalam instead.

 

Even if there were hot girls, they were tourists. Aiseh.

 

If it’s not about winning the tourney or the chicks, what could be so spectacular, so suspenseful?

 

It’s about……..my new Bed Mates who I met in the hotel and got close to each other in a very short time, and oh, we had two heated, crazy nights of non-stop action.

 

I couldn’t sleep much…the moment I thought i could rest, they were all over me again…They even had a go at Mojosh, Ego and Simon on the first night. Eventually they were too weak to handle them, and I had to take over on the 2nd night.

 

I can’t show you many pictures though. I woke up the next morning to find them gone. The only traces left were their love bites. This, I can show you.

Yes, I was infested by Bed Bugs.

This is probably one of the most unfortunate hotel incidents I’ve even been through. We stayed in this place called Sunny Inn, which was very cheap, dirt cheap.

 

 

I couldn’t wait to get Ashleyteng’s pics, so that I could tell everyone about this wonderful motel.

 

 

The rooms come complete with a shower (non-heated), and an air-cond. Honestly, if you’re used to roughing it out (old beds, no air-cond, no heater), this place is fine.

 

Personally, I don’t care if the place was super ugly. I don’t sleep with my eyes open to admire the wallpaper or decoration…and what’s more, look nice means expensive mah. What for I spend that kind of money?  A quad room costs RM 45, and it works out to be a little more than RM10 per person. What a bargain!

 

 

Little did I know that I would have these ‘escorts’ accompanying me all night.

 

 

 

 

Damn Geli wei wtf man. I can imagine a dozen of these bugs drawing my blood in relish while I was sleeping in peace. I must have lost at least a pint of blood. No wonder next morning I didn’t get a blood rush to my usual spot like guys do in the morning. Ingat ada masalah pulak.

 

Anyway, I couldn’t wait to leave the place at the earliest that I could. No more Sunny Inn, from now on. And I suggest the same for you too, unless you’re looking for cheap ‘Blood Detox’ treatment in Melaka.
