I want free unlimited roaming when I travel! (an iPad2 would be nice too)..

-

Hello!

I’m here to blog about why I need free unlimited international voice roaming. And this is obviously a contest entry hahah. I wish I could post updates about the holes I’ve been digging in the past few months but…dunno where to start (See previous post date : (Feb 3 2011) woohoo!

So here goes..

<Inserts big banner ad>

<Big hint above> : I’m after that iPad2. There, I’ve said it  Open-mouthed smile

And I need those 1,000,000 free Flexiroam credits because….

I miss India. And I’m going back again in November. And…I desperately need to tell someone when I take a pic like this again.

…or when I run into a tire puncture again.

…or if I find some good shit to share with friends.

Yes..these were taken in 2008, but the content still feels ‘fresh’ as ever.

I should share with you some tips on Flexiroam while I’m doing this.

FlexiRoam is a prepaid international mobile roaming service that allows you to stay connected to home (Malaysia) while traveling overseas.

FlexiRoam allows you to make and receive calls on your Malaysian mobile number through a foreign mobile number while you’re overseas on business or leisure.

As FlexiRoam is only RM10 /day, you can travel without fear of expensive roaming bills when you return. With RM10, you can receive unlimited calls and make unlimited calls too!

Here’s the story in a single line:

Say I’m in India and bought a local prepaid SIM. Flexiroam pushes calls received on my Digi to my India number, for RM10 / day.

RM 10 makes total $$$ sense actually. My roaming charges (on some days) if I do answer calls on my Digi when I’m roaming is gila babi high, somewhere RM30 in a day .__.

So I kinda fell into Flexiroam’s trap, and signed up. Honest verdict? I like their signup process: User experience has been carefully thought out. And I get RM10 credits free. Can’t say no to free money. hehe

And I like how they throw that effin big banner… in your face(!) haha.

That’s all (200,000+) that’s left out of 1,000,000 credits that Flexiroam’s been giving away in September.  Quick grab them!

Travelling somewhere soon? And can’t leave your hotline behind? Give Flexiroam a shot… it’s time to turn the tables on our local money-suckin’ telcos!

(Or if you’re more into the iPad, click here..he he.)

Cheers!

Happy Chinese New Year 2011!

-

Here’s something I did last night in CNY spirit (or what I could muster) to make the most I could out of the prayer ritual. If you hate the whole praying process (like me), check out my video and see if it makes you feel any better about it. Winking smile

P.S I won’t stop until my 10th round of Yee Sang!

We Chinese will never learn.

This is the reason why Malaysian / China / Taiwan Chinese New Year celebrations never seemed to take off for me me in my 20+ years in this region.
