This is it. The new theme. The Happy CNY theme.
Heya all!
It’s been awhile since my last post, and I’m sorry! I said before I’ll post more often, but guess I messed up….again.hehe.
As you can see, I’ve changed my blog layout. If you haven’t been here for weeks, you’ll probably only notice one change. From the old one, to the current one.
If you’ve come here regularly (you are amazing), you might have noticed about ahem..2-3 different themes DAILY, for about 4-5 days. I had sleepless nights, playing with different themes in the AM until i was yawning blood instead of tears.
I tried magazine style themes.
I tried portfolio style themes.
At that point, my mind was so saturated with themes that even Hello Kitty seemed to be a pretty good theme to use.
Was there not even one theme that I could use?
Was there not a single theme designer in this world that was able to satisfy me without me having to use any form of external aid?
Eventually I decided that I had to Strip It Down to a Clean, Bare Theme.
So, this is it. The Sliding Door theme.
A clean, simple template which is partially inspired by www.joshuachay.com. This dude reduced his blog to a One-column layout. ONE. He’s crazy, but it takes some balls to have a layout that needs me to put my Twitter, blogroll, etc at the BOTTOM of the page. Nah I don’t have THAT kind of balls.
I’ve got just enough balls to strip my layout free of color. And let the words in my post color your life chehwah.
And more importantly, keep the posts short and simple to avoid Flooding of pictures. No, not Flooding, SWAMPING. My blog was suspended for 3 days last month because the overload of pics caused my blog to overshoot its bandwidth. Craziness. And that was even after upgrading the host to a higher bandwidth wei.
It may seem like an attempt to say that I have super-traffic, but no it’s not. It’s the pics haha. T_T
Ok now try swooshing your mouse over the top navigation panel. Those are snippets of pics in different categories. Now if you will, click on them and check it out. Reading posts on euveng.com has been proven to be good for your health.

There was also a peanut throwing competition going on between Ah Chay and Botakhai..
Now is that peanut ENTERING Botakai’s mouth, or BOUNCING OFF his face? Hmm.

I was using this theme too, but the comments didn’t show. I tried over and over until I gave up, and I went on a theme hunt, just like you, a few sleepless nights. Thank god I finally found something.

I know no computer language, so I can’t say for sure. But I downloaded the same thing, someone else tested and it worked on their blog. I didn’t alter anything, but the comments just won’t show in the posts. There is no link to click on to comment too. The page ends at my last sentence. :/
