Island Cafe with a long-lost kawan
Just got back from makan with Karenananana Cheow who was missing from the face of the earth for months, until she came back last week.
And this girl, come back also never call. Had I not noticed her pic by Howard U at the Standout Tiger party, I would’ve never found out that she came back.
It was all planned nicely at first. My appointment in KL finished at 6. Then I meet Karena & friend at 7.30.
At 6, she tells me she has no transport to get to KL.

She calls me wai-dai cos I offered to drive to Sri Petaling and meet her.
(Actually that’s because it’s on my way home. Muahahaha)
So dinner venue was changed from Jln Alor to Island Cafe at Kuchai Lama.
There goes my Hokkien Mee, Chicken wings, Tomyam etc. Had to settle for this instead.
The food and place wasn’t too bad though. Thanks for the recommendation Kevin & Julienne!
What happens when two long-lost blogger friends reunite at a dinner table? Guessssss…
Oh yeah.
Karena’s gona go back to Sabah for her studies. We’re gonna miss you mui mui zai!

I know! but i rather have guai lou meals with a coupla chicks than eat hokkien mee by myself lol…i was in kl alone ok ^^

go gravatar dot come and register your email, then upload photo. everytime you reply, you put in that email address
and if you’re using wordpress, you have to enable it under settings “discussion”

i install about a week ago..but leh sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. i can’t explain why but i’ll just enable it and HOPE that it works keke.
